How to Conduct a Citrus Fund Raising Sale in Ten Easy Steps!!

Meet with your group to discuss the plans for conducting a "Fresh Florida Citrus" Fruit Sale. The best time of year to hold your sale would be anytime in September through the first of November and look for delivery between November 15th and December 15th! Go ahead and determine your delivery date! |

Call Riverfront Groves and order your promotional materials for promoting your sale. As your fruit supplier, we will supply you with order forms, collection envelopes, three different size posters, door hangers, ad slick, and media release! |

Determine your sales price. We will provide you with a "Suggested Sale Price" for each variety we offer, that is only a guideline, only you know what your "traffic" will bare! |

Make your "media" contacts for publicity purposes! Get your local newspapers and radio stations to promote your sale! |

|
Hold your "Fresh Florida Citrus" Fruit Sale anywhere between one and three weeks! |

When your sale is over, tabulate all orders and call Riverfront Groves with your order at least 14 days prior to your delivery date! Make sure you have added any extra fruit needed, once you have called in your order, we cannot take any revisions!

Riverfront Groves will call you when your fruit has left our packing house and let you know your estimated time of arrival. The truck driver is also requested to call you prior to delivery. Make sure you have plenty of volunteers to help unload the truck! |

The truck arrives... Count cartons by variety and size to make sure the count on the manifest agrees with your count! |

Riverfront Groves will forward your invoice after delivery. We look to be paid within ten days after you receive your invoice! |

|
CELEBRATE!! At the end of your sale, gather all of your volunteers together and thank them for all their efforts! |
